Reservations and orders. When you make a reservation, place an online order, or purchase a gift card through our third-party providers, additional information is collected directly by those providers, as described in the “Third-Party Services” section below.
Automatically collected data. Because our website uses analytics, advertising, and infrastructure tools, we (or the providers of those tools) automatically collect certain technical information when you visit our site, including pages visited, device and browser information, approximate location (city level), traffic source, IP address, ad clicks and conversions, and identifiers used for ad targeting and measurement. Our analytics and advertising tools only run after you accept cookies in our banner — until then they are not loaded and collect nothing. If you choose to book, a link takes you to OpenTable, Inc.’s own website; nothing from OpenTable runs here and we send it none of your information. Once you leave this Site, your reservation details (party size, date, time) and the name, email and phone you provide are collected and governed entirely by OpenTable. We retain the information collected through our contact and catering forms for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and for a reasonable period afterward for recordkeeping purposes.
Job application information submitted through the careers form is retained according to our hiring needs and applicable recordkeeping obligations.

Our website is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can address the situation.
